As part of the programme “Enhancing Cybersecurity for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Cyprus 2025”, under the Call NCC-CY-ENTERPRISES/TOURISM/0925/0009, OMAS SOLUTIONS has supported organisations in strengthening their cybersecurity readiness through structured Cybersecurity Gap Analysis assessments and the development of corresponding implementation plans, establishing the foundation for a strong and resilient cybersecurity framework based on four key areas: Visibility & Prevention Controls, Maintenance Controls, Enforcement Controls and Maturity Controls.
Within the framework of the project, OMAS SOLUTIONS provided consultancy support and project management services, assisting participating organisations in evaluating their current cybersecurity posture, identifying areas for improvement, and defining targeted actions aligned with recognised cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
The Cybersecurity Gap Analysis process focused on assessing key cybersecurity domains, including security policies, awareness and training, vulnerability management, access control, data protection, network security, incident management, and overall cybersecurity maturity.
Based on the identified needs and improvement areas, OMAS SOLUTIONS supported organisations in defining and coordinating cybersecurity enhancement actions, including:
- Vulnerability Assessment, Exploitation and Penetration Testing
- Security Awareness Training
- Design and Effective Implementation of Data Privacy Policy Frameworks
- Design and Effective Implementation of Information Security Policy Frameworks
Through this initiative, OMAS SOLUTIONS contributed to helping organisations gain a clearer understanding of their cybersecurity landscape and establish a structured roadmap towards improved resilience, risk management, and digital security.
The project involved the assessment and support of multiple organisations, from the following sectors: financial securities, fund management, hotels, software platforms and services.
